“Kids Against Hunger”  Update
Bethany has fed over 17,000 people!
                         
Great News! On April 9, over a dozen members of Bethany’s youth group and adult volunteers packaged 4,104 Kids Against Hunger meals.  This time we are planning to send the food to both a hunger ministry in Appalachia and also to a ministry in Haiti.
           

We are amazed at how God has blessed this ministry in the short time it has been in operation at Bethany.  This is truly a “Loaves and Fishes”
ministry.  With just a few willing servants and a few dollars donated here and there God has worked through us to feed more than 17,000 people!

What a great way to feed God's children!  Everyone had a great time and felt a direct contribution to a great ministry.  We invite you to participate in the next Packaging Day and to make a donation of any size for the purchase of the food that goes into the packages.  Make checks payable to “Bethany Lutheran Church” and write “Kids Against Hunger” in the memo line.
